The cotton used for Nudie Jeans basic tees, long sleeves, basic sweatshirt, underwear and shirts made in India are both organic and Fairtrade certified. The Fairtrade cotton is grown and ginned in India. Using organic and Fairtrade cotton is good both for the environment, the people who grow and handle the cotton and for the end consumer. The Fairtrade certified cotton ensures that the farmers are paid a fair price for their cotton. And we contribute to the growth of the local community by the Fairtrade premium we pay. The organic cotton ensures that organic farming practice are followed and that no harmful chemicals are used in the process.

About the brand
Nudie Jeans is the ”naked truth about denim”. Nudie Jeans is Swedish denim brand originating in Gothenburg founded in 2001 by Maria Erixon and Swedish designer JC. Erion. Nudie offers a way of thinking, a concept, and an undying passion, fueled by the traditions of denim and the characteristics of fabric itself.

Nudie Jeans with its laid-back, surfer vibe, now 100% organic, Nudie has put themselves at the top of the denim industry. And they’re doing a lot more than putting waves on the back pockets of their jeans.

They manufacture all of their product with 100% organic cotton (using 91% less water than traditional methods in the process), they pay everyone in their supply chain a living wage, they recycle and resell second-hand garments, and they perform unannounced checks on their factories and suppliers to make sure everyone is keeping to their high standards – and they even publish these reports online for everyone to see. On top of all, every pair of jeans purchased anywhere in the world comes with the promise of free repairs in Nudie's Repair shops.  Repair Reuse Recycle.
